One of the young watchmakers of today, Romain Gauthier was born in 1975 in La Vallee de Joux, Switzerland. Romain Gauthier began his career at CNC, a watch parts manufacturer in 1997.

It was only two years later in 1999; Romain Gauthier decided to start his own consulting company to advise watch collectors on quality timepieces to purchase. In 2005, Romain Gauthier started his own in-house collection of fine timepieces.
